Letters to the Editor

We receive so many emails and letters from our readers that speak to the heart of what FOLK is all about. We thank you all for being a part of OUR American story, and would like to share them from time to time here on the blog.

Here's one that came in today:
Thank you to all who have offered support over today's flag discussion on facebook. I think it is very refreshing that a group of young people have embraced the American lifestyle that brought us to the point we are as a nation. There will always be people who will be offended by one thing or another, BUT this is a magazine that promotes "truth, justice and the American way" just as much as Superman did in my childhood. Mistakes will be made, but it's the learning from those mistakes that make them more valid. In America, we are allowed the freedom to make mistakes. We have the freedom to speak and make mistakes, to publish and make mistakes and the freedom to live in spite of said mistakes.

Stay the course, FOLK magazine. You are telling the story of the American spirit. You are promoting the small business world that brought us to the top of the industrialized world. You are expressing freedom in such a beautiful, refreshing way. Apologize if you feel you must, then let it go.

Can you imagine how much more awesome The United States of America would be if we had more FOLKs out there like you guys and gals? WOW!!
